Masterpeace is a clothing, jewelry and accessories brand founded in Moscow in 2012 by sisters Evgenia and Irina Linovich. Inspired by the richness of ancient Russian fine arts and crafts, the Masterpeace collection is an avantgarde reinvention of its nation’s noble heritage, preserving 100% of its eccentricity. Using original vintage shawls and enamel brooches, each piece is carefully handcrafted by artisans across the Russian Federation to make unique elaborate accessories. Every design incorporates the foundation of traditional adornment with the use of wild Russian amber, malachite, alexandrite, and black spinel. Evgenia is also using heritage and craftsman skills of other cultures, from Tibetian to the ancient tribes.
Exposed to art in all forms from an early age, creative director Evgenia Linovich began her career in the Russian Ministry of Cultural Preservation. Her work led to travels across her native country’s wide landscape, where she discovered and was inspired by traditional craftsmanship. After having practiced jewelry making solely as a hobby for two years, she created Masterpeace in 2012.
In 2014 the brand added clothing collection, first in collaboration with Moscow based Korean designer J.Kim, and from AW 2016 Masterpeace clothing line is created by Evgenia and Irina.
Each collection is focused on a specific art form, combining elements of old tradition with the identity of a woman who loves to amuse. Masterpeace’s retail partners through seasons included Kirna Zabete, Opening Ceremony, Moda Operandi, Matches Fashion, StyleBop and Net-A-Porter, La Rinascente, DNA, Aizel and others.
Masterpeace has achieved press placements in publications such as Harper’s Bazaar US, Vogue Japan, Vogue.com, Style.com Arabia, Buro 24/7, Allure Russia, and L’Officiel Russia, As If, Porter Magazine, CR Fashion Book.
